I also speak to educators on the following issues, drawing from fourteen years of public school teaching experience:

If you want a lecturer, I'm not your speaker. If how things are is good enough, I'm not your man. But if you want to see a difference in your students' attitudes toward writing and be challenged in your own thinking, I'd love to talk to you about a school visit.
My honorarium depends on the number of events you'd like me to facilitate. You would also be expected to cover transportation, lodging, and meal expenses, if your school is out of driving distance from the Twin Cities Metro area.
I have many literacy and writing helps presentations for parents in addition to those listed above. I love meeting parents! So please consider planning a parent event in addition to those during the school day.
Finally, be advised that I will be selling and signing books while I'm with you, but it will be your responsibility to order those from Penguin, USA. Should you decide to bring me to your school, I will send you detailed instructions on how to do this!
